3 Christmas' = Lots of Presents

Nathan had 3 Christmas’ this year. The first was at Gma and Gpa Shouse’s with Fiona, Uncle Andy and Aunt Brooke. Nathan got a tricycle, fisher price lawnmower, a water table, 3 car racing track, and mega blocks.

Grandpa pushed Nathan all around on his doodle buggy and they played with the train under the tree.

Later, Grandma played jingle bells on the piano with some help from Nathan.

Nathan also got to hang with his favorite cousin, Fiona, during christmas.

Then on Christmas Eve, Nathan had Christmas at Gma and Gpa Reinhart's with Auntie Em and Uncle Kevin and Uncle Scott. Nathan got a train table, weebles, and more mega blocks!!! Grandpa let Nathan open one of his presents early.

Later after dinner we all opened presents and Nathan was particularly fond of Grandma's Williams Sonoma Spatula and started playing the drums on his presents. He thought he was funny and so did we. It took a while for Nathan to open all his presents because he wanted to play with each one before he was interested in unwrapping the next gift.

We all had a good time and attempted to get one family photo at the end of the night.

Christmas day Nathan woke up at 7am and found presents under the tree from mommy, daddy, and Santa. Nathan got a singamajig, little people airport, more mega blocks, wooden puzzles, a craftsman tool bench with tools, and a stuffed puppy dog.

But the big gift was a boy fort from Santa. The boy fort is a small house that has a mailbox, doorbell, and cordless telephone (Nathan's favorite). He loves openning and closing the door and shutters. The boy fort is Nathan's favorite toy, good job Santa!

So Nathan had 3 really good Christmas’ and got all kind of gifts and toys. What more could a little boy ask for. :)

Sledding

For the first Snow of the year we got Nathan outside and on the sled at the Braun’s house. Their front yard is the perfect hill for sledding. Nathan and Daddy went down the hill together both of them laughing as they whipped through the snow.

Pictures with Santa

We took Nathan to Knoll Wood to see Santa Claus this year. Surprising Nathan did not cry and he sat very patiently on Santa lap while I told Santa what a good little boy Nathan was this year.

At Knoll Wood there were beautiful poinsettias everywhere so we got a quick family pictures by the poinsettia tree.

Thanksgiving

This year we had Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa Shouse with Uncle Andy, Aunt Brooke and Fiona a week prior to Thanksgiving. Fiona and Nathan played with Nathan’s tool bench and a few other toys. Here are some pics of the cousins playing together. Be sure to check out those cute furry brown boots that Fiona is wearing. So cute!

And here is a picture of Fiona and her mommy.

Starting to Walk

Nathan is starting to take some steps with help from mommy and daddy. He gets really excited and squeals as he starts going faster. We have a toy for Nathan to push and walk behind but he would rather walk holding our hands. He is getting better every day and it won't be long before he is walking and then running.

The Entertainment of a "Box"

Nick got a Ridgid ShopVac the day after Thanksgiving and while Nick was putting it together, Nathan crawled in the box. He was laughing and having a grand old time, so we kept the box for Nathan to play in.

Helping Daddy

During one of the nicer days in November, Nick cleaned out all the cars. Nathan helped by picking up the empty water bottles and helped Nick vacuum the cars.

Afterwards, Nathan wanted to play in the driver’s seat and check out the John Deere mower. Nick is happy and ready to pass off the mowing duties to Nathan as soon as he learns how to drive.

Nathan's Red Wagon

Nathan got a Radio Flyer Wagon for his birthday and loves to take rides around the house. Here are some pictures of Nathan and his new red wagon.

1st Haircut

Nathan had a lot of hair when he was born so it amazing he hasn’t needed to get his hair cut before now. His hair was hanging over his ears and I had to push it to the side so it won’t be in his eyes and it started to curl in the back. Daddy needed a hair cut too so they both went to Great Clips. Here are some pictures of Nathan’s first hair cut.

1st B-day and Halloween

Nathan had his very first birthday and birthday party. We ate Stromboli and pasta salad and of course B-day cake. Nathan had an entire cake to himself and only wanted to eat the icing. Nathan got a lot of really great toys like the little champs 3 sports in 1, the learning tool bench, and the mega blocks dump truck. Here are some pictures of that very special day.

Halloween was later that night so Nathan had a nap and after he woke up Fiona and Nathan put on their costumes. Fiona was a hotdog and Nathan was a spider…the cutest spider EVER!!!

Later we went to Grandma and Grandpa Reinharts for Nathan’s first Trick or Treat experience. Nathan made it to 3 houses before we called it a night.
